Jindal SWR (Soil, Waste & Rainwater) Piping System is a complete uPVC drainage solution engineered for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. Manufactured from premium lead-free uPVC, the system delivers leak-proof, corrosion-resistant and easy-to-install drainage performance.

Available in both Push-fit (with pre-installed rubber sealing ring) and Solvent-weld (Solfit) jointing options, the range covers 40 mm to 200 mm pipes with a complete suite of fittings — bends, tees, Ys, traps, couplers, cowls, clamps and WC connectors — for soil, waste and rainwater stacks.

    Select joint type — push-fit (with pre-installed seal) or solvent-fit — based on the system design.

  2. 02

    Cut the pipe square and chamfer the cut end; clean both pipe end and fitting socket of dust and debris.

  3. 03

    For push-fit: apply approved rubber lubricant and push the pipe into the socket up to the stopper mark. For solfit: apply uPVC solvent cement evenly to pipe end and socket, then join and hold for 30 seconds.

  4. 04

    Maintain the correct slope/gradient for gravity drainage on all horizontal runs.

  5. 05

    Support the line with recommended clamps and brackets, especially on vertical stacks.

  6. 06

    Carry out a water/leak test to confirm leak-free installation before concealing.

Precautions during installation

  • Don't mix push-fit and solvent-fit systems without using proper adapters.
  • Don't expose pipes to direct flame or high heat during installation.
  • Don't use sealants, adhesives or solvent cement that are not recommended for uPVC SWR systems.
  • Don't skip pipe supports or anchoring, especially on vertical lines.
  • Don't ignore thermal expansion allowances — plan for movement and flexibility.
  • Don't attempt to make sockets manually by heating the pipe mouth; always use factory-made sockets/couplers.
  • Use only approved lubricant for push-fit joints — never use solvent cement on push-fit pipes.

Can the pipes be painted to match the wall?+

Yes. Jindal SWR pipes are UV-resistant; if a colour match is required, water-based paint may be used on the external surface.

How long do SWR pipes last?+

What is the difference between a Tee and a Swept Tee?+
